If I wrote a sequel to this I can't help but feel it would just be full of Clint feels, because Clint would know. He'd know because he's done the entire pulling back at the last moment thing. only, Aaron wouldn't be pulling back, and the quick touch of Aaron's fingers to Phil's arm screams louder than any neon sign could. And he doesn't get it, he doesn't. Because he's looked at Aaron and, yeah, the scars are different he's swapping out one fucked up past and a government agency for another, but apart from that? Well, apart from that, the only thing Clint can see about Aaron is that he's not Clint. He's not Clint and Phil chose him, so Clint guesses he has his answer, after all.
