So yesterday I ran some errands with my neighbor friend and we stopped at the mini mall to look at purses and shoes. It was one of those surreal days where all kinds of strangers went out of their way to smile and make eye contact with us and strike up conversations. Old ladies asked me where items were in the stores... a mom and daughter pair
