Started my daily ficlets to make the hiatus pass, then decided to keep going with a second cycle. Now entering the seventh through ninth weeks, here comes cycle 3 of my gleekathon!

I was definitely disappointed when they didn't get to sing their ballad, but this makes up for it. Very cute. (:

Aw this is so cute. I had to look it up but I love the song, too, and I think Heather and Naya would sound good on it.

“I’m glad we got matched,” Santana nodded, still searching.

“Yeah,” Brittany smiled.

“We can totally win this,” Santana spoke confidently. Brittany looked up, then over at her.

“It’s a contest?”

was friendship… it was more than. They depended on one another. There was no deception, no malice, not between the two of them. Whatever issues they had elsewhere, this was one place where there was security.

Cute! Was sad that we didnt get to see their ballad - as I really wanted to hear them sing. But this makes up for it :)

Loved this piece - definitely the ballad I missed most. Your characterisation was spot-on, and I particularly loved the throwback to the duck line. *snugs Britt*
