I so loved how we got more of Chris’ singing in the back nine and this was definitely a highlight.

YESSS. Happier than a pig in shit when I saw that Chris/Kurt was getting material. I personally thought this episode was great, it had some of the best music of the back9, IMO.

Cory ruined it. I really like him, and try to defend his singing. But, there are just some songs they should not let him touch, like this one. It sounded like a cat trying to sing while being put into water. Thankfully they cut his part back once they released the single.

I agree with you on Finn's part. It was good for the character, but bad for the song. I find Cory's timber to be really jarring in this song - Chris has very strong, clear notes and then Cory just sounds weak and maybe a little off key in comparison. It's definitely not the right style for Cory.
