Going to work my way through the 108 songs, hopefully one per day. This includes all 100 released singles, whether they appeared on the show or not, as well as 8 which were not, over the course of season 1. This was like the first, "Let us introduce you to the greatness that is Lea Michele's singing," moment on the show.

I used to think this song was just average, and i can't stand Rihanna but Lea took it to a whole new level...would be a lot higher on my personal list. It was the same with No Air which i loathed before Glee did it...still hate the original though lol.

God the effort gone into this is immense...good on you.

Sadly, I was watching this episode with a friend who came out with the comment "Wrong end of the hairbrush, genius," which cracks me up even now. So the real feeling of hurt that came through in this number has been dampened for me a little. But it is the first time I heard Rachel/Lea sing and went 'wow, girl is good', so I regard the song favourably.

when I watched the season, and looked the list of the songs, I couldn't remember, where was this song... but then I watched the episode again, and now I like it (:
