Today I have been taken over by a couple of hacker games. It's kinda like being a hacker in the movies vs being one in real life... ie, real hacking doesn't work this way sadly. But they're close in that, if you get to the upper levels in the games, you have the mindset necessary to hack ( Read more... )

The two I'm playing are available here:

They're demos though and on the second one (Digital Hazard) I can't get past the second scenario so I think that might be how the demo's locked... but I'm not quite sure.

I'm just starting the first one now.

A friend has a lot of this type of game supposedly, full versions (including hacked full versions of these two games) so when I get my hands on those I'll let ya know.

correction. The first one on the page (Blue Sky) sucks.

Not because it's too hard like, oh noes I don't know how to get this server, but it's like wtf? How the hell was I supposed to know I needed a minimum of $3500 to pass this stage? I spent it on upgrades! WTF?? $3500 is required but if I don't have a minimum of $5500 I can't get into any servers in stage two???

Bad design.

BUT it's $10 and I might buy it just because it comes with the source code and I can write a better one. Or maybe the hacked version comes with it, I'll see.

DO try Digital Hazard though. I was stuck on lvl 2 because I was dumb, not because that's the demo kicking in. (That would be evil.)
