Well, Weekend before last I was hoping to make a progress report type post after getting a few things accomplished, but the dogs had other plans. When my shepherd, Magnum and Wolftales pitbull, Willy met almost two years ago Willy was 4 months old, and the two of them coexisted just fine, even played together. As Willy matured and Magnum turned ( Read more... )

Good to hear he is recovering well. You were missed at FC but this obviously took precedence. *tight-hug*

I had planned to sit this FC out since back when I learned of the dog restrictions at the new hotel, not being able to bring dogs (these two that got in the fight actually) makes it impractical for myself and the guys I travel with. And it wasn't until after the fact that I realized how much I'd miss seeing the people (like you) that I barely chat with but still enjoy bumping into a few times a year :)

I am glad that he is doing better. I know what I am about to say may hurt some feeling but it has nothing to do with the owners and this is just my personal feeling. But I just dont trust pits.

I don't imadgine that would hurt any more feelings than say, you might feel when your bigoted construction-worker coworkers point out that the niggers, jews or spics are statistically more likely to be incarcerated, financially corrupt, or here illegally.

I find pits to be one of the most trustworthy dogs, you can always trust them to be pits. There temperments and personalitys may be the result of the usual psycological upbringing stuffs, but as wolftales pointed out a while back when we realized he and Mag would have to be seperated, "they are especially dangerous in the wrong situations because pitbulls don't loose fights"

Now if you don't trust a pit, but you would trust any other breed without knowing the individual dog, that's very foolish.

Thank you, having you and your sister look after Lucy while I stayed down at wolftales place was a huge help!

Thanks :) It's hard to describe but it felt bad, such is life though, the bad parts give contrast and make the good parts feel far more good by comparison :)
