I love the random information that comes out in "introduction" e-mails and posts.

The listserv for my grad program is up and running now, so people are saying hellos. A lot of snowboarders, anime fans, and gamers so far, and one person mentioned a love of Setlers of Catan (I'm totally befriending him, since I don't own my own board).
