I know you lot are a crafty sort. Any tips and suggestions on making a quick mold of an actor's head tonight? I don't want to keep him around for long, since I'll be doing this after rehearsal, so I won't be starting a paper-mâché cast at 10pm. The plan is to put a layer of plastic wrap on his noggin and then get the basic shape down by layering up ( Read more... )

You just want the shape of his head, and not his face? Then yeah, wig cap, plastic wrap, duct tape.

All of my non-head-related experiments of a similar nature have worked fine, but somehow forcing somebody else to sit through this makes me worry that something will go wrong, lol. Thanks!

Just make sure the hair is safely tucked away, don't wrap the tape too tightly, and it should work.
