I had no idea I cared so much until I saw a couple of things that said McCain was leading (it was just one state reporting). But yeah, this... if the improbable happens, I am going to be a very bad person to be around tomorrow. Maybe for four years.

I wore my Canada shirt to vote, just to remind myself I had options in case my guy didn't win (not that Canada is any better, of course).

I also wish I lived in California. I am desperate to know how Prop 8 turns out and amazed it is even a damned option.

As a lesbian, Indian, pagan woman this country could become dangerous for myself and my family if one canadate wins and for any reason his VP end up taking over the presidency later on. That's when Canada will be a very possible option for us.

Ah, very true. Palin scares the living daylights out of me. Here's hoping that those idiotic "Palin in 2012" rumors fade as quickly as her fifteen minutes.

Not just about McCain winning (how could people be so blind?) but Prop 8 here...I mean, the very fact that the Repubs had to write it should indicate to them that things have changed, and are going to change. Ten years ago, it wouldn't have been a question, and thirty years ago, people still had to lie and hide their true lives.

This story has really gotten away from me I have to admit, but then I've been waiting to get to writing it for 5 years or more.

I watch your progress, and I'm like :O . I mean, I once managed 50,000 words in a week, but it was on a book I'd wanted to write for, well...years. ;)

I haven't even had a chance to start, 'cause I've had a broken-down computer until today. It's fun when you crash just from opening MS Word.
