I'm glad to see that PD is making their books available in e-book format now. They seem to be growing in popularity.

I think BSB is now selling their ebooks directly from the BSB website (and nowhere else). This gives the publisher maximum profit as their is no distributor's discount. It probably doesn't affect the authors' profits/royalties though.

Depends how they set the ebook royalties in thier contracts I guess. I know GCLS is talking logictics on how to as ebooks (book that are only available in ebook form) to the awards so I think people are becoming more open to them as well.

I'm a little concerned that they are a lesbian ebookseller. I wonder if they'll also put m/m books through them? I'll have to ask Linda and Barb - as I can't see m/m being very popular or found easily through SCP.

If they sell m/m print books now they'll likely be willing to carry the ebook too. From thier site it looks like to do focus on trans and gay fic, though if you are concermed you might suggest to PD what other places do well selling wise by those. They have a list on the side of the SCP site, so gay fic is easily found, if that makes you feel better.

Yeah but I didn't spot that, first impressions sort of count a lot - all I saw was "lesbian fiction" - however I've heard back from PD Publishing, so it's put my mind at rest.
