Like you, I have taken up the Thursday Thirteen, and also the Wordless Wednesday, in an effort to get (and hopefully keep) myself working on my blog stuff. I have periods where I do good, then I just fall off. I've also got a blog here at LiveJournal. But I'm finding it challenging to connect at both Blogger and LiveJournal. So, I applaud your efforts, and will be encouraged by them. Thank you!

I've been thinking about WW too. It is hard to know not only what to write about, but whether or not other will find the topic you choose interesting. I know folks that have several blogs but I don't know how they manage.

Agreed! I have my hands full just figuring out what to do with my two. I have thought about getting rid of one of them. But both have features I wish the other had, and too (silly as it may seem) I feel almost like I'd be surgically removing a part of myself to drop one. I worry whether or not people will like what I write or post. Or, if they'll even care or be interested enough to read it. But, at some point, I just decided that I'm doing it for myself - to sate some need I have to write, express, connect, whatever. And I just accept (or at least tell myself that I do) that not everyone will like it, agree, or even like me. Just hang in there, and be good to yourself. Life is hard enough without us beating ourselves up. Oh, and one reason I did choose the Wordless Wednesday, was because it forces me to communicate without words. It sort of pushes me to think outside of my box of words, if you follow what I mean.

Welcome back to T13! I love reading the list of what the last two years have brought you. I hate being away during all of this, but I know our experiences are making us the women we need to be when we flow back together. Congrats on not only surviving, but thriving!
