Soooo tired.

For almost forty eight hours my daughters (age 6) temp has bounced between 101.5 to 104.9 and she is pretty miserable. I’ve gotten very little sleep in the process since she seems to rest better in my bed. Oh, no! Poor baby! Isn't Children's Advil helping?

I agree with cold compresses on the back of the neck; the wrists are a good place too. When my daughters are sick I give them drinks with silly straws because it encourages them to drink more, if you're having a hard time getting fluids down her.

I hope it doesn't become an ear infection, and I hope she feels better soon!

The doc say this brand of flu is affected very little by fever meds, but the ibruprofn is helping a little. She loves straws so I got her pink ones which is her fave color. We're keeping an eyes out for any signs of ear aches, for that reason.

I love my daughter, but the name mama and mommy is starting to get on my nerves lately. I am a very crancky lady.
