I am in Pittsburgh today. Why? I took 2 civil service tests. I was told "no, they are not hard... don' worry about it." Well, it was fairly difficult. The labor market statistics were scary but at least I knew the vocabulary that they used

OMG when I took a civil service exam last year the SAME EXACT THINGS drove me NUTS!!! Some of the questions seemed totally subjective! Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way!

Maybe you did better than you thought:). Almost everyone I talk to thinks they do a lot worse on civil service tests than they actually do.
