WooHoo! There is so little Eliot/Quinn out there and this piece is fantastic. I love how you weave Eliot's back-story into the current events of the story, it's very well done.

In my head Quinn rolls into town in a couple of weeks and wary as an alley cat lets Eliot court him in that not really courting sort of way.

This is wonderful. I love Quinn and Eliot's relationship here, and all the added introspection about how Eliot defines himself. LOVE the Shelly backstory too. And that Sophie is the one he relies on to take care of the team.

Favorite line:

Maybe spending all this time with the crew had broken him so someone annoying him made him like them.

Glad it turned out well, most of what you mentioned were things I've been trying to work into peices for awhile. I'm happy they mixed together well.

Excellent! I think Quinn coming to the rescue and surprising Eliot is my favourite part, but I love their whole relationship, and the backstory, and Shelly *g*. Also, the relationship with the team is spot on, love that he trusts Sophie taking on the role of team protector while he's away and Parker telling him to come back in her own way.

Love the way you've used quotes and songs throughout, I adore the image of them singing together (and the snowball fight :D), and how you've tied it in with his past, that after leaving all those years ago he's finally found his place.
