Thank you thank you thank you for this awesomeness. There's been something of a dearth of Nate and Sam fics recently and I miss this dynamic. Perhaps it has been because of the strengthening of the Sophie/Nate dynamic on the show, but I miss it (however masochistic that may seem). This is perfect in this verse.

Have I told you recently...

Consider me confused...did you mean Nate and Eliot fics?

Nope, I mean Nate and Sam. As in his son. The reason why the concept of Alec, Parker and Eliot as children is one he swerves wildly away from, part of why Nate is struggling with this insomnia, (why the idea of Eliot dying a slow painful death might be seriously emotionally damaging, why he's thinking so hard on the 'kids' sleeping patterns, why he's been staying up late to make sure they all get some sleep... ok, this is just me meta-reading now...)

Presumably also with reference to the title...? :P

That Sam.

Of course, I'm so dense sometimes. And suddenly the title makes much more sense...*goes away and hides in shame*

Thanks for the explanation!

I find it oddly cute how Sophie is the one with the regular sleeping pattern and the others sort of adapt to the pattern.

Poor Nate though, seems he isn't sleeping at all.

As for the notes: Yes to focusing on Eliot's history. We can't have enough of that, especially since I feel we get so little of him on the show at the moment ;).

I've always loved the idea of Sophie sleeping well and peacfully. And after a while on board it makes sense in my head the kids would learn she was the closest to normal of them all.

Yeah. My only problem this season is Eliot seems to be pushed back more than the others.

Be happy that's your only problem, I'm beginning to have several problems ;).

How do you mean 'pushed back'? As in Eliot is getting pushed back by Nate, Hardison, Sophie and/or Parker or the character is been pushed back by the writers?

If it's the latter, we might have the same problem :).
