Title: I Never Tell You
Author: Magpie
Rating: pg-13
Genre: Gen ELiot centric
Verse: N/a
Summary: Four times Eliot thought about leaving and one time no one stopped him.
Notes: The first time I watched the Reunionn Job I was left with this really bad taste in my mouth by the last scene. This was the result. Obviously a tag to The Reunion Job.

I know I never tell you what you're worth )

I like this interpretation of the character, the idea that he's tied to this team because of what he's given up. I enjoyed that last scene of "The Reunion Job" but all the same, this is a clever angle on the character.

That is a really awesome way of putting into a few words what I was trying to get across in this fic.
Thanks!

One little thing I noticed though, a 'not' that changes the meaning of a sentence:
We trust you not to keep us safe on a job.

Thanks for pointing out the error, you win a black star of awesome! I'll go fix it now!

You gave Eliot the dignity he deserved in your fic. Thank you for that.

And then they all had to go retrieve their retrieval specialist! They did, right? Right? *has faith*
Lovely and heart-wrenching as always.

Hell I might even be convinced to put aside my other projects long enough to add "It's More Than I Deserve" to address the taken for granted bit.
BTB, your icon is very appropriate and awsome.

Heh, silliness aside, I do love the angst, and this is some damn fine quality angst (that last line is just heartbreaking), but it makes me so happy when broken people/relationships get fixed. It's like getting ice cream after pizza. (hmm, must be lunchtime) ^_~
My icons are so rarely appropriate, but this one totally was!
