Do you use the adjective "epic" frequently? I do, but it´s a new thing (everything is epic in Iceland/with Icelandic archaeologists/with death metal fans!).

I use it all the time. The difference between our usages is probably staggering, though, considering. You're studying Vikings!!! Teehee! :D

Haha, it may have started with the Vikings, but it´s such a versatile word!

Explanation: I would guess that the proportion of death metal fans among those who study Vikings may be higher than in the general population. Also, it is a style of music that actually aims for the epic, sometimes successfully, sometimes just ridiculously.
