River wasn't sure how to congratualte Zoe on the birth of her child, but had finally decided that leaving a present outside her door would be a nice gesture while not intrusive. She had found an odd looking plushie and wrapped it in aluminium foil, then tied a piece of string with a handdrawn card attached. The card depicted a starry night sky and said: To Zoe, John & baby. Be careful. River.
She left the present hanging on the door handle, knocked once on the door and disappeared before anyone had the chance to open.
