waaaah! i want a new layout, but i'm too lazy to maaaake oooone. i'm thinking maybe i should put my energy into making an actual layout for the blog/domain i've had for a while, but i'm not good with php/css/modern coding. and i have too much pride to do use a pre-made one, especially being engaged to a hot filipino designer. oh, the

That's great about Japan. I've always wanted to go and no matter how much of a Japanophile I am, I know you and Bry are more.

thanks :D hopefully we save up enough and actually get to go and don't spend all our money on like...getting a dog. which isn't too far-fetched, actually.

Everyone always gets to go to cool places and keeps forgetting to bring back pictures.
Hmm...I need to figure out how to get to Cali so you can smuggle me to Japan in your suitcase.
I don't think you're boring.

i definately plan on taking pictures, and god knows bryan will. but is it okay if we're not in them? x_x i hate posing for pictures, unless it's like purikura where i can make cute hello-project faces!
but i've been practicing my peace sign in case random japanese want to take pictures with us (which i've heard they do), lol. i don't know how they manage to bend their fingers backward so much.

My friends recently got married (last weekend XD ), and they saved some money on the rehearsal dinner, cake and DJ by having friends, or friends of friends do it. (A friend made the food for rehearsal dinner, a friend's BF was the DJ and a friend of a friend made the cake). So look at things like that.

aww, thank you. ^^ how did the boring thing end up becoming the main point here? i was just trying to come up with a more interesting title than "stuff" lol. plus, you guys are supposed to give me advice on my dilemma! either hit me on the head with a frying pan and tell me that i'm being too selfish, or send wishes of karma to bryan for not going through with what he started. x_o
thanks, that sounds like good advice! :D now i'll just have to be-friend people based on what they can do at my wedding, lol. "hello, what's you're name? do you have any special talents?"

You know those TV shows with wedding planners and 'have-your-closest-friends-plan-your-wedding'? -sucks at remembering names- Those usually have low budget weddings and not only do they tell you how much you generally need, but they also give you hints on how to plan a low-cost wedding. In fact, I think the latter TV show had a budget of 5k.
As for style, doesn't it depend on what style you have? o.o; Personally I like to look at Cosmo or some other fashion magazine to see what's "in" and then choose at least one piece that I would like to wear ;3 I don't usually buy entire outfits at a time.

yeah, i've seen that show! for better or for worse, ne? yeah, the budget is $5,000, but they insinuate that that's a really low budget for a wedding (i.e. "they have a week and only $5,000" which is part of the challenge). they end up cutting on some important things, like the gown. :/ plus, they have a wedding planner with them! xD that makes it easier. i haven't seen the show recently, but i remember thinking that a lot of the tips they would give didn't really apply to me....i did get some ideas, but i might not be able to use them depending on the location we end up getting. i have plenty of ideas of my own, but i have a feeling they won't be money savers ( ... )

Hmm...I guess it is important to have at least one good blazer; I've got a few (at least one for each season xP) and I match 'em up with just about everything. When t-shirts, sometimes collar-shirts or even tank tops ^^; I think shopping for 'outfits' really depends on whether or not you're looking to create a style of your own (by combining what you have and what you would like) or if you're also interested in the latest fashion.
