so we picked up soul calibur iii yesterday. i gotta say that in-game is not that different from the second one, but it's fun none-the-less. the main similarities are in-battle...the graphics don't seem to have changed much, neither the battle system, nor the moves, and just overall it feels a lot like the second one ( Read more... )

i borrowed it from my friend nick and i only stop playing that game for school and SOMETIMES food. the chronicles of the sword is UBER addictive and time consuming. just like you, i friggin <3 my female character i created. and also like you, i prefer playing with female characters more. what class did you end up choosing for your character??? i ended up choosing dancer class. that class' fighting style [which uses iron fans, "knife" boots, tambourines, and xianghua's/voldo's style]is very beautiful and tricky but i lack the power i need to progress through the game, but hey, i'm a xianghua fan at heart. i also have to agree that tira's overall character is just great. i'm thinking about creating a character resembling her fighting style [thief]. i'm trying to make a male character, but it's hard for me to accessorize because all of the outfits seem the same. blah! so anyways....hope you have fun with hte game as much as i have

i made a thief, named her shasa. :] she's fast and agile and can throw bombs. lol. but her weapon is a dagger, haven't gotten any others for her. i wonder if i unlock them or buy them?

i'm definitely planning on making anothr character when i get more things, i'll either make another thief or a ninja. i was curious about the dancer class, i figured it wouldn't be too good but with what you say i might try it out. :]

hopefully when we unlock more items we'll have more choices for the males. then i might give it a go! anyway, have fun and let me know if you find anything particularly cool in the game. :D

a thief. that's great yeh the more you level up, the more classes you'll unlock and you just have to play through the game to get the weapons for that class. the dagger has a nice ultimate weapon ( ... )

oh my god we play a LOT of soul caliber II in this place. this makes me need III. Now.
