Well I've been accepted into Uni to upgrade my nursing qualifications! Now starts the head scratching, because it's been 20 years since I've studied anything more advanced than my navel. And all the new terminology. Units, credits, 'learning pathways' (?). Plus I'll be studying externally which means my actual campus is a thousand miles away, ( Read more... )

Congratulations! That is awesome! You have a lot of hard work ahead of you, but you will be so glad you did it and you will do GREAT. Distance learning is such a neat concept. I may do it when (if?) I go back for my masters degree...someday.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll be able to negoiate the paperwork that's no doubt heading my way in the next few weeks and finally get down to learning :) I reckon if I do a full time equivalent study load I can be finished in two years but it'll mean a lot of discipline on my part.
