Thorn Birds. THORN Birds. How could I misspell that? THORN, damn it.

No, seriously, that's pathetic. It's one of my favourite books--Colleen is arguably my favourite author--how could I have misspelled it?

College is eating away my brain =/

That's my girl, blame higher education for killing much needed social brain cells. =D

I'm in the process of re-reading the LotR series right now! I just finished The Hobbit for the first time ever.

I did like it. Now random scenes from the movies make more sense to me. *grins*

*grins* Wait until you've seen the extended editions!

Ooh, I have! I knew the extra scenes, though, because I read all three (or six, heh) books of the series before the 2nd and 3rd movies came out. Though I really skimmed the Frodo/Sam books... man, Frodo bugged me after a while...

Yeah, I started grinning when I realized those stone trolls in the movie were the ones that almost got Thorin and Co. And now the name Balin in Moria means something more to me, and... isn't Legolas the son, or something, of that particular Mirkwood King? It's been a while since the first time I read the books, but I remember that Legolas is a prince of Mirkwood...
