Light stares at the television. He'd expected people would start notice the criminals were being killed; in fact he'd purposefully left it that way. People should know that divine justice would prevail.
'Criminals have been the target of a killing spree, which has turned into the biggest mass murder in history. This monstrous crime must be stopped at all costs. "Kira", as the perpetrator is known, will be caught, I guarentee it.'
Light laughs. This guy's an idiot, his name and face are right there in broad view. Ryuk sniggers in the background.
