*grump* Day three of this migraine. Storms rolling in and out, temperature shifts, all the stuff that normally sets me off. At work, but wearing sunglasses. I am so cool. NL has been hugely patient with keeping me company while I'm braindead and grumpy, and has now finished watching Firefly in the process of waiting through another of my naps. Also, forgot to mention that I finally finished Six Feet Under earlier this week; I really enjoyed it a lot, although I found the later Nate story arcs less interesting and believable than those of the other characters. Still, highly recommended (if there's anyone on the planet left to recommend them to).
Finally got back to using Google Reader, thanks to the new phone. Have a giant pile of linketies as a result. Here goes...
Come Saturday Morning: Compare and Contrast - NYC and Cleveland The City of Cleveland said “No tents!” It started raining, so we errected tents anyway. They changed our permit over-night so we are now considered a “special event” and tents are permitted. Then the Cleveland Police Department came and donated their own personal tents and tarps to the movement.

The (Possibly) Last Thing I'll Say About That Post (a response from another editor about the post) -- I still think it was extremely poor judgment to post this as an official piece in a health section. As a personal blog post, fine. I'd still wince and sigh, but I'd be ok with it. But as it was presented? No. Really not helpful to anyone.
