1. i'm sorry you had that creepy encounter. no matter how many times someone will say "oh yeah, that happens all the time," it doesn't make you feel any better. so, again, i'm sorry you AND mom had to experience that. but i AM GLAD you both were able to walk away physically ok from that creep.

i didn't make it to alki beach! :( i wanted to go yesterday, but that phone interview came up & the weather was a bit not-beachy. maybe next week. the rest of staff still has their training to go through so i might just make field trip time for myself. :)

You're entirely right. It's so frustrating that semi-minor events like these come around & can be such setbacks. It's even more frustrating that we can't turn off our emotional reactions to them.

It's just ridiculous that we have to put up with this & "get over it," knamean? >:O
