[Upon arriving, Rahal had been knocked out of sorts, and once he came to he still thought himself to be dreaming. He had been out on a training mission with the Iron Rams, to Garlaige Citadel. Perhaps the floor had given way? Was this some secret and long forgotten area of the Citadel, built long ago by the Ancients

You'll find no bearded brute here.

Rahal? Excenmille's friend? He'll be glad to see you.

Aye, he is a brother in arms. [It'd be less manly to call him a "friend," so he settles for another term.] I as well would like to see him. He left a few months back, on a journey.
Forgive me if this question is rude, but how is it you've come to know Excenmille? He is not the most accepting...

[And for a moment the bitty is totally wrapped up in his thoughts with his hand on his chin.]
I'll see to it we visit Troia to repay you for your kindness. I do thank you for extending a hand to him.
[He's used to thanking people for Excenmille, so he just assumes his friend didn't do as much anymore.]

I--That is my name, yes. I apologize for not yet knowing yours. As for "arrival," I'm uncertain as to where I could be. I should have only fallen through the floor of the Citadel... Can this truly be another world?

That's right; this is Gaia. The same thing happened to me, a long while ago. I'm Rydia of Mist...though lately, of Alfitaria. That is where Excenmille arrived, which is how I know of you.
[She stares past him and frowns slightly.]
You need to leave that area. Oeilvert is hardly the most hospitable of places, as you must know by now. Almost anywhere else would be better.

[This is rather worrisome for him. There are people back home who rely on him... People he still needs to command.]
I take it you cared for Excenmille when he arrived? You've my thanks, if that's the case. He is on his way here; I will at least remain until he comes.
[And then he offers her a reassuring smile.]
You need not worry. We'll be all right on our own. We are no strangers to danger or fighting.

[She pauses, checking the sky phone, but....]
...it is not located on Gaia's map. Nor have I heard of this Captain. He might not have crossed over, as you have.

Crossed over? How is it even possible to simply cross into another world?

I sorcerer named Garland is responsible, through magicks yet unknown. Our arrival into this world was but a side effect of his goal; he did not intend this. Nonetheless, he cares not for our plight and seeks to further disrupt Gaia's balance.

Aye. Excenmille is present here? That is a great relief. Last I saw of him, I did not know if I would see him again. To get that chance is heartening, even under such circumstances.

He is. If you go to Troia, ask my parents to help you find him.
Gaia's pretty good about letting you see people you didn't think you'd get to again.
[His uncle comes to mind right away.]

I'm still a bit uncertain of this place, but if it can offer such opportunities, I will keep an open mind. There are many I would wish to see again, if given the chance.
