[Angeal's a little shocked to hear his phone go off so he jumps in his skin a little, brushing his hair back before he picks up.

And then there's a smile on his face; he looks much more healthy now.] Lilisette, it's good to see you.

[Lili immediately perks up at that voice, and she's beaming when she answers. He looks a lot better, but hopefully he's ready for a bunch of questions.]

Angeal! How are you? Are you feeling better? Have you gotten used to Gaia yet?

[He's glad to see she's happy too, that smile sticking to his face for awhile. She even gets a chuckle out of him from the barrage of questions.]

I'm doing just fine, I'm feeling much better and I've still got a little more growing to do before I can be used to this place.

But you've met up with your friends, right? Did everything work out with them?

[And she knows she's asking too much questions, so she rubs the back of her neck sheepishly.]

I'm doing all right. It feels as if I've been all over the place lately, but I finally feel as if I'm back on my feet.

[Mjrn's leaning against a tree when she answers the sky phone, Chit waddling over and peering into the device as well.]

Mjrn! [Smile!] I'm doing fine. We survived the Wind Shrine and a woman named Lufene. A nasty little snake of a woman...

[She shakes her head and recovers her smile.]

I wanted to see if you were faring well. How are you and Chit doing?

[Chit, hearing her name, cheeps. Mjrn gently brushes her aside just a little, so that she can readjust the screen.]

We are well, though I have been scarce of late. I was occupied with myrrh collection.

[Her mind isn't on that, but what Lilisette just said, though.]

Lufene? I have had the misfortune of encountering her as well. Did she seek the crystals?

[Lilisette nods.]

She came to us for the crystal, and apparently then assaulted the other groups. But she only said a few words and played around before she was gone again. It was more psychological than anything.

[It was frustrating. And it was what kept her out of commission longer than she had intended.]

Have you been helping others gather myrrh? It seems there are all manner of beasts guarding them. I hope you've not been tiring yourself out too much.

[Vincent does keep his phone on him here. It's occasionally useful, and the others don't use it to bother him much. It's a moment before he answers it, but he actually looks at the screen of it when he does.]

[She does her best to mimic his tone and keep a straight face as he does, but it only lasts for so long. First she tries to fight her smile, then she simply gives into it.]

How are you faring? I didn't get to check in on you much after the battle...

[She had more or less run away once she was well enough.]

[There's a slight pause.] Just Vincent.

[It's strange hearing his voice in such a lighthearted tone. And she's seeking him out, lightheartedly, even after seeing Hellmasker. He can respect that much.]

["Vincent" isn't nearly as fun to say as "Vincent Valentine," so it may be a while before she actually adheres to that request. But she'll take it as a sign she's managed to get a little closer to him--an idea that makes her smile much more.]

I'm relieved. When you changed I thought I'd never see you again. I was worried.

[And she's been worried ever since then, but she wanted him to have plenty of time to recover.]

I'd congratulate the others first. I didn't do much for them.

[In that wind, with two who preferred aerial combat, she'd not been as effective as she should have.]

Do you remember the Sanctuary of Zi'tah? I recently visited there, and it's still alive with goobbue, golems, and goblin. Perhaps we should make a trip of it soon. Fiends from our world should pose more of a challenge.

[Especially considering two of the three were at least twice his height.

[There's a bit of a delay with answering the phone. If Lilisette looks carefully at the video, she'll see a few oddly shaped hands that look more like claws on it, maybe a twitching, pink nose here or there. And a lot of excited shrieking.]

[She certainly doesn't miss those qiqirn answering, and they immediately put a smile on her face. It's good that he's not keeping himself cooped up in the staging point. Even if they're oversized rats, they offer better company than the lamia and the qutrub in the Mire.]

I'm fine. I wanted to see how you were doing, though it seems you're still refusing healing. Perhaps I shall have to return so I can force some healing on you.

[She places her hands on her hips and shakes her head.]

Also, I wished to apologize for leaving so suddenly. I had a friend I wished to see, and...

[She knew she could make up a ton of excuses, but that he would know the truth either way.]
