[He answers from his current place within the hall way that leads to Eiko's room. Sorry for forgetting to mention such an important thing..]

Hello?

Hello, it's Genesis. I've arrived.

[He chuckles a little.]

Was this a warzone?

In a manner of speaking yes. It would seem some form of attack was loosed on the world shortly prior to our arrival, Lindblum was one of those specifically targeted I've been told.

Have you a found a place to stay yet?

Not quite. It looks like the inn is full of with refugees. I'm merely wandering the town to see if there is another.

As for Gaia, I believe the cause of our being here is due to a man by the name of Garland. He sought to do something with this world, but it didn't go as he planned and it thus affected other worlds, ours included which is why we find ourselves brought here with no warning and from various different points in time.

I believe that they managed to find a way to send people back to their worlds but it was dangerous and they couldn't pull it off for long. Obviously, I have no interest in returning to our world..[Especially not after what he recalls being told to him about his future.]

I don't blame you.

[Genesis didn't have anything to go back to, really. But... he was curious.]

You are taking my presence rather well, Sephiroth. Why is that?

....I still consider you a friend of mine, especially with the help you gave me previously here. Should I discard those actions just because it wasn't you personally who did it?

What happened before...you weren't thinking straight...and considering the amount of pain you must have been in at the time, it's not surprising that you did all that you did do or were tricked into doing for the sake of your finding a cure.

[He's silent, staring at the ceiling as he listens. Then, he leans forward to look at Sephiroth, a contemplative look on his face.]

So I told you the whole story, then.
