[At Penelo's cafe himself, Balthier takes time out from being generally irate to answer his phone, composing himself and making his voice as pleasant as possible when he sees who's calling. No need to sound snippy when Celes has nothing to do with this cruel joke.]

[Penelo's re-opened the cafe, but she's still deeply hurt by that horrible letter prank. Business is hopping, and not in part because many are curious what got the dancer's heckles up so drastically. For her part, she's losing herself in her work. It keeps her too busy to think.]

[Odd that one letter would go so well and another so terribly. It'll take Celes a while to make it down to the cafe, but eventually she does, glancing around to see what the place is like. It's high time she started doing things outside the castle, after all.]

[Swamped is what it is, filled to capacity with both natives and Sky People of every race, many of them just common workers on their lunch break. And only one slip of a Penelo darting between all those people, dropping off steaming plates of food and chilled drinks.]
