[If anyone had asked, Sephiroth would have been hard pressed to actually pinpoint what had woken him up, but really in the end, it mattered little if it had been the sunlight, scent of clean salt air or the sound of water and people moving about. What mattered really was the fact he was rather obviously not where he'd originally lied down to rest

Hey there, General. Hm. Hope you don't take this the wrong way, and I swear there's a good reason for it, but I gotta ask - what's the last thing you remember before arriving here? I promise I'll explain later, but it's really, really important.
[Cue the sheepish but stubborn lil grin on his lips, and a curious tilt of his head.]

Considering I doubt this line is secure for a detailed answer, I will merely state that I was dealing with investigations in Modeoheim before awaking here. If you desire more details than that then I would prefer to speak in person or over a more secured line.
[cue a rather brief pause and it's the general's turn to pose a question to the Turk on screen.]
Might I inquire as to what happened to your location?

[He goes quiet for a moment. Sephiroth was sane. This was a very good thing. He'd explain why he had asked the question later - at the same time as Sephiroth would explain more on what he last remembered. For now? He glanced behind himself, frowning at the destruction, then sighed and returned to Sephiroth's view with a somewhat saddened look on his face.]
I've no doubt some of this is our work. But most of it is from something we learned was called a 'Lunar Cry'. Basically? A crap-ton of monsters was dropped on this place. Hundreds upon hundreds. And some of them were really, really big. Most of this is from one of those big ones - the thing was larger than most of the buildings in Midgar, if that gives you any idea. The smaller buildings littering this city didn't stand a chance.
[He frowns again, then arches a dark red brow.]You wouldn't, by any chance, be in any position to get over here and help? Or any of the towns that got hit with this monsteriffic bullshit? We can catch up on info then, too ( ... )

[Not that he had anything against being asked to do menial labor, but he'd like to know if he was being asked to deal with repairs or being asked to clean up whatever monster presence still remained around the afflicted towns.]

Princess Kisaragi.
I take it by your words that not many from the company have been brought to this world?
Reply
Like I said. Not that I care.

[Well beyond the old adage that one keeps their friends close and enemies closer, considering the fact that Shinra had just conquered the girl's homeland, he can fully understand any hostility from her toward the company itself]
Would you be able to tell me if there are any others here from our world that aren't part of the company?

Yes, sir?
[Considering the last Sephiroth she ran into nearly had her head when she didn't address him as such, she used the formality again. Cissnei likes being alive.]

[From the way the redhead had spoken it sounded as if all the few personal here were in that city but it was always wise to get confirmation instead of just making assumptions which could come back to bite one later.]

[She didn't want to immediately ask him what he last remembered. It seemed that he was still of sound mind, so far.]
Sir. [Hastily added.]

He had noted the slight pause tween the answer and the last word but for the moment he simply ignored it, passing it off as nerves on the Turk's behalf due to the pressure they have no doubt been under and the desire to not offend him with informality.]

General Sephiroth. I have not seen you in quite some time. You are doing well, I trust?
Reply
I am doing well enough at the moment.
[cue a rather small pause and he finally gives up trying to wrack his memory for the identity of the man on the phone]
If you don't mind me asking, could I have your name?

Noah. Noah fon Ronsenburg. I had been going by Gabranth when we met, if that sounds more familiar to you.

A pleasure to meet you, Noah, be it the first or second time.
Though I confess I still don't recall our first meeting...might I ask when it occurred?

Zack. I am fine.
[a brief pause]
Might I ask why you didn't expect to see me?
