[Normally Penelo is content to live and let live, but with all the comings and goings of her friends lately, and the barrage of monsters falling from the moon, she's feeling more proactive about the world around her. Especially after some other posts on the network that have had her thinking. Her post is more of a general ramble while she sorts out

Do you remember Zellea? It was north of Loar... referred to as the Forbidden Land. The Mist ran with much thickness there... there was most certainly something amiss. [even though she never found out what was actually held there, she did see the place.]

I remember that. Wasn't there a rift around there too?

[It's been over 15 months since she's been home. Details are sketchy for her from time to time.]

I believe so. I faintly recall of the Mist causing ruptures there.

Perhaps... Luso's arrival caused a Rift, also. Maybe a similar thing occurs here, with us falling through worlds. And time, as well.

I've wondered about that for a while. It can't possibly be good though if so. Rifts are dangerous. I don't like the idea of more being made as we come and go.

...but in a way, that's really the only thing that makes any sense at all.

Enough Rifts... perhaps they would destroy a world. The only way to protect it would be to seal them shut. [there's a solemn look there. that means a pretty evident thing, if it were true.]

I am not sure. Logically, people who came here, like us... that would have to end, or else, the Rifts would change. But as that has been happening for many years, I do not know if that would suddenly end.

... I am not sure. If a Rift is what we fell through, then... yes. Maybe it is.
