He gathers himself and gets to his feet, pausing and looking down at said feet. He isn't in the habit of wearing shoes, so the faint sound of duckbills scraping floor gives him some need for consideration

Yet, his eyes follow the woman's steps, watching her tap upon the tree. His eyes narrow slightly, and when he is dressed and the old attire safely away within the wardrobe, walks to it.]
