[Kicking and punching her way through a swarm of foes usually isn't too difficult for Tifa. They've got a little monster problem here thanks to the Lunar Cry and she's doing her part to take care of it.
That's why she's on the beach right now, fighting to stop the monsters from overwhelming the island.

[Still, she was brought up suddenly by the sudden appearance of the Aerith-like monster that stopped Tifa, shimmering into view next to the other woman. But she shook her head to snap out of it. Since it was not, obviously, really Aerith.]
Tifa, it is not her.
[She spoke even as she moved past Tifa and stabbed out at a wolf that had been planning to take advantage of the other woman's sudden fear, sending it tumbling away missing a forelimb.]

[Why does it look like her? What does it mean? This line of thought is cut off, however, when the Lemure attacks them with Spore. The next breath Tifa takes is full of poison and she drops to her knees as a sick feeling overtakes her.]

[Poison had never been a particularly effective spell against Shelke, possibly because so much of her life her body had been constantly poisoned and recovered from Mako. She winced, taking a step back as the gas swept over her, coughing, but she didn't fall as Tifa ddid, she coughed more and closed her eyes for a second.]
[And then she lunged forward to slash out at the would-be aerith creature with one of her swords, trying to cut it in half, or at least cut off something important.]
