[Rex's superpower: detecting linefaces. The dog's barking alerts Tifa, and she follows it to find Vincent. Cue mouth dropping open.]

Vincent! Oh - I wasn't expecting you.

[Yes, she'd invited him, but it's Vincent. Still, turning up unexpectedly is kind of his thing.]

It's good to see you. How have you been?

[He nods to her, ignoring the look of surprise. He's used to seeing that look whenever he comes around.]

Fine. [Not really. But the fact that he showed up indicates something, at least.] Testing this. [He indicates the Perseus Bow he got after Memoria.]

Oh. Nice... bow.

[It's still really weird to see Vincent with a bow rather than a gun.]

So how is it? [She looks him up and down.] You know, you look a little tired. Would you like something to eat or drink?

[Well, he hasn't given up the gun completely- Cerberus is still in its holster. But he's not going to use it much while he lives as a wandering vagabond, bullets being as expensive as they are.]

[He turns slightly when Tifa says that, his face hidden behind the collar of the cloak.] There's no need.

[Shelke was seated on a bench outside the Flower Shop, a book on local history in her lap. She wasn't sure why she looked up when she did, just in time to see Vincent coming around the corner. She waited until he was passing before she closed her book with a thump.]

Vincent Valentine.

[He paused at the sound of her saying his name, and closing her book. Then he turned and nodded, walking over to join her in front of the flower shop.]

[Shelke tugs her legs up to fold them on the bench when he joins her, her blue eyes watching him for a long few moments in that vaguely unsettling staring way that she has. Eventually she looks away.]

Have you been well?

[It wasn't what she intended to say, but then, she hasn't expected to see him. And she'd deliberately not spoken to him for several weeks now.]

Fine. [He didn't turn to meet her gaze at all, only crossed his arms as he answered.]

...Have you? [He's realizing that he's taken to avoiding the people from his world a good deal.]
