Figaro still stands, but not without heavy losses. The attack caught us completely by surprise, and the numbers were too great. Lufene was apparently searching for the zodiac stones; she didn't succeed in this goal, but now she has Figaro's king ( Read more... )

[It's a shame he's not got a ship, but Setzer is searching out Terra all the same, in the aftermath of the fight.]

[Terra is likely in her room, packing. She's pacing about restlessly, gathering what she can.]

[He knocks before poking his head in.]

I can't offer a set of wings, but I would never forgive myself if I didn't help a friend in need.

[That gets a smile out of Terra, as she glances over.]

I'm sure Edgar will appreciate that, Setzer. And so do I.

We won't let her keep hold of Edgar, I promise you! What aid do you need, Terra? I shall do my best to provide.

We need people to go to Pandemonium with us, and information about that place. I'm not sure how much of Lufene's army remains there, or if she's rebuilt since last time, or...anything. But I'm pretty sure that's where she must be.

I would lend you my blade if I could, but I must remain in Troia. She may attack elsewhere, so we are preparing for the worst. In the meantime we will give all aid we can to Figaro.

Is there anything else I can do to help, Terra?

I understand, Cecil.

Troia is pretty close to Pandemonium, isn't it?

It is. [Too close for comfort right now, even.] You and the others are welcome to rest and regroup here, should you need to. Troia's resources are open to you.

I can also offer you any of the fastest ships in Troia's fleet. Air travel is so common in this world, Lufene will less expect an approach by sea.

Thank you, Cecil. I wish it could be a more leisurely visit, but I'm grateful for the hospitality.

You're probably right about Lufene, but likely we will need a very swift escape. Do you have any intelligence on that area? Are Lufene's numbers still somewhat depleted, or has she restored what was lost?

I just hope we'll be able to get there in time.

We will.

Edgar won't give in that easy.

You're right. We'll have to hold onto that.
