[Have Stiltzkin looking at his shiny brand new map.]

That's a lot of new locations. I think I need to make a checklist.

[He lowers the map, revealing Oerba in the distance.]

Ticking off Oerba. The first stop on my new journey... There's one of those spooky trees right where Jidoor used to be. Gave me the shivers, that... I've heard there's a lot of ( Read more... )

How did you find Oerba? Where is it?

Right here! On the Forgotten Continent, where Jidoor used to be. Check your map, miss, the cartographers wouldn't want their work to be ignored.

May I inquire what kind of tree this plant is, moogle? Is it likened to the Iifa Tree?

I don't think anything's like the Iifa Tree. They're called myrrh trees. You see 'em all over the place now.

Myrrh trees...? Ah, yes!

I do remember hearing such a name before when speaking with the Monks of Orbonne. From what I can last recall, a myrrh tree miraculously took root within the depths of their catacombs. The monks viewed its sudden appearance to be an omen of some kind. Whether or not this is a good omen eludes me, but I'm certain there's a reason for the myrrh tree's presence here on Gaia.

I take it that such trees aren't native to Gaia, much like the Iifa Tree's true origins.

Nope, definitely not native. I got my info from the Selkies in Alfitaria.

Same way as all the other times, I guess.

I see [Looks off] But the new locations appear at random...sporadically. No rhyme or reason as to why they've come...unless there's a hidden-

[Remembers the moogle] My apologies, thank you, Moogle.
