[Actual Porom is faring far better than the copies, thankfully. The sheer number of the monsters is the problem rather than their strength and their shared inherent weakness to holy magic means they fall quickly. For now she's mostly unharmed. Eventually there's a brief pause in the fighting and she uses the chance to respond.]
I would appreciate it. The sooner I can seal the road and end their advance, the better.
[He's certainly glad to see that she's holding them off. It's lucky that they're undead, really. It makes it easier for a lone white mage to fight them.]
Then I will be there as soon as I can.

[She says something vaguely thank-you-like, dropping the phone again to return her attention to the monsters and to re-casting her defensive magic.
She's taken a few hits by the time the warrior arrives but protect has absorbed the worst of the damage, they're nothing she won't be able to heal away once she gets the chance. She uses reflect to redirect a sprit's fire spells toward a nearby lilith and then uses cure to reduce the spirit to dust.]
[Needless to say, he has heard the transmission during his travels from Matoya's cave and subsequent contemplation makes him decide to switch his skyphone on. If anything, the constant murmer of messages helps his head stop going around in the same circles regarding Ondore, Matoya, the Lunatic Pandora, Firion, Pandaemonium and--
Why, don't those creatures look rather alike.. Yes, they do. Coming to a stop, the wizard takes now, possibly the most convienient time, to cover himself with protective magics before attempting to recall the Teleport spell. Thankfully, he remembers both the words, and the fact the spell will work, Mysidia is just within reach. And in a short space of time he is there -- watching the onslaught of beasties, fleeing mages, other mages obviously wanting to help Porom but stuck in indecision- and of course the girl herself fighting the oncoming waves.
He goes to her side- before targetting a group of jellies on the right with Holy.]
...It appears the fates wish our meeting somewhat immediately.
[Today was not going quite how Porom had expected to to, to say the least. First the shifting of the world, then the sudden escape of the spirits of the Devil's Road. And now she finds herself fighting at the side of the town's founder, the great Sage who had ended the old age of magic. She has reached the point where she isn't sure she is even surprised anymore. She doesn't have enough surprise left to deal with this and wraps right back around to 'calm'.]
It would seem so. I apologize for the trouble.
[Cura spins around her fingers as she prepares it. It's easier to cast than Holy and just as effective on the spirits that she is currently facing down. As the healing washes over them it calms their anger. Without anger to move them they are little more than dust carried on the air.]
[Ramza was about to take leave to Narshe until he caught a glimpse of this dire message. While he knew not of Mysidia or Porom, but Ramza felt the need to lend his aid nonetheless. The young Beoulve is a good Samaritan, a man of many virtues who will protect others with little fee. Seeing the students fleeing for their lives was enough to make Ramza set off towards Mysidia. Dressed in his signature black armor and hooded brown cloak, Ramza rushed off for battle.
He arrived not a moment too soon, quickly thrusting his blade through the sordid flesh of skeletons and ghouls. Ramza may have been an unfamiliar face for Porom, but the mercenary's skill made up for this. Prying his sword out of the skull of a random Blood Bone, Ramza gave the Mysidia born mage a quick nod.]
[Ramza had proven himself a noble person indeed, risking his life to come to the aid of strangers as he had. Determined not to allow the spirits to punish his valour, Porom returns the nod in silence and casts Blink upon the knight, creating two images of him at each side to confuse the spirits and substitute themselves for him before their attacks. In the time Blink buys, she starts to prepare to cast Protect and Haste]
[He honestly never seen fiends of this nature before. Ghouls did prowl the depths of Mullonde, but they weren't the same menace as these beasts before him. The Lilith was the next to strike at Ramza, a macabre of human flesh and serpent scales. It was hoping to bind him with its magic, but Ramza's blade was faster.
With just a few swipes of his Runeblade, the feminine fiend fell. Ramza had all his past perils to thank for his swordsmanship now. In the golden days, the young Beoulve could barely hold his own against a spar with Delita. Such a humbling thought for the battle weary swordsman.]
Ah?
[Ramza looked a tad baffled once the girl cast her magic upon him. It was a spell he never seen before, something more of an illusion considering there was now two of him present. Wondering if this woman was a time mage of some kind, Ramza spared another look.]
[Alfitaria to Troia and then...the Devil's Road to Mysidia. That's the route Rydia apparently has to take, so she embarks immediately. The summoner can only hope that she can still make a difference by the time she arrives.]
[Action] ICON COMPLETELY UNRELATED.praygeniusJanuary 26 2011, 14:14:55 UTC
[The devil's road entrance at Mysidia's side is filled with undead. Most are fairly weak but they're very numerous. But sheer numbers don't mean a whole lot when faced with a summoner OR a black mage.]
[Ursula doesn't respond over the sky phone, but wastes no time in reaching Mysidia as soon as possible. She won't stand idly by while Porom and Mysidia is in danger. As soon as she reaches the town, the princess heads for the hall of prayer, striking and kicking anything that obstructs her path.]
[Porom's taken her share of attacks by then, a particularly large and aggressive wave of the spirits leaving her with little time to recover. She strikes one ghoul with her staff, knocking it away from her to try to buy the time to cast a spell at it only to be immediately faced by a lilith. She braces herself to take another stike.
Only for it not to come, because something has slammed foot-first into the monsters in question. She gives an exhausted smile, very glad to see her friend, before first casting haste on Ursula and then cura on herself.]
[The Haste spell is appreciated, since there are still plenty of monsters about. Ursula barely has time to smile back before slashing into the lilith. Fortunately, her fire claw combined with the lilith's weakness aids her considerably in that task.]

I can be in Mysidia shortly, if you wish for my assistance.

[Haste followed the Blink spell soon enough, quickly followed by protect.]
They're coming from a building to the east. Until I can seal it they'll continue to advance.
