[Voice/Action] Early morning of the 21st

[Kain is woken up by Zephyr nudging him repeatedly. She's just come in through the balcony leading to his room, having had her morning flight cut short by the invasion. Kain wakes and frowns at her.]

Zephyr, why are you...

[He glances outside, staring at the sight and then groaning. An undead army is really not what he wanted to wake to

Who's attacking Troia, Kain?! Is it the Emperor and his goons?

An army of undead. There's no time to spare... I must get out there at once and fight!

An army of undead fiends?

[The realization hits him like a ton of bricks.]

It's her! Lufene! This has to be her doing.

[voice]

[dragoon_rising]

It must be... but she won't destroy this place.

[monk_princess]

[Ursula heads to her balcony, to see...and is off, immediately pounding on Ceodore's door.]

Wake up! We need you!

[And then she's running to go get that chocobo for Kain. Far be it for her to keep him from battle.]

[dragoon_rising]

[Kain will be waiting impatiently in the meantime, for someone to bring him that transport. He keeps himself occupied by talking to Zephyr and giving her instructions. She isn't very experienced in a battle like this, but he has confidence in her as long as she sticks to the air.]

[He's also using that time to get his armor on. He always keeps it and his spear within arm's reach of him.]

[Ursula opens his door and strides in, tugging a chocobo along with her. It has a saddle and reins all set up. The young princess's face is set; now is not the time for idle banter.]

Let's go.

[She'll help him mount the chocobo if he needs it, all the quicker to get the out there.]

[dragoon_rising]

Right.

[Kain looks much relieved- and even glad- to see that she's listened to him. He waves toward the chocobo to come closer to him and reaches with his arms to pull himself up. He isn't going to say anything, but the effort it takes him, it's apparent he is definitely going to need that help, he's always needed it any other time he's readied to ride. That and to make sure his feet are secured in the stirrups. He glances to Zephyr.]

Zephyr... Remember what I said about keeping to the air. I'll call if I'm in need of your help. If you're in trouble, take to the air and find your safety in high ground.

[The small dragon listens to his every word, and understands. She is ready to do what she can.]

[Sighs and turns the video part on, showing what he can manage to see from his window. The undead are swarming in fast.]

I'm on my way out there. This must be stopped at once.

All right. [Sighs and mutters something.] Someone had better hurry in here...

How far are they? Most of the mages that remain here are students and would not survive battle but-
