Fanworks Bazaar (Revamped!)
Hey, guys! This is the new Fanworks Bazaar, open for business. There's also a Participation Banner stall where you can spend your gil! If you need to check how much gil you have, the sheet is here.
We also have a Prompt Orphanage, where prompts from previous minigames/activities/etc. are housed. :) Do stop by and fill a couple of these!
MWS-WIDE PROMPT UPDATE
Multiple fills are allowed; also, you do not need a shop to participate.
FOR STALLOWNERS
♦ If you are interested in offering more than one type of fanwork, please set up separate stalls under the different categories, for ease of navigation;
♦ Kingdom Hearts fanworks may be requested but will not earn points if they focus on Disney or original KH characters; however, you will still earn gil. This also applies to original fandom characters. You may shift your gil prices accordingly to compensate for this;
♦ The points will only be awarded when you post your work, or a link to your work, in moogle_workshop.
♦ Gil will only be awarded when the buyer receives their request (either via MWS, or in a reply to their comment with a link, etc.)
♦ You may waive or refund the gil fee at your own discretion.
♦ You may reject a request if, for whatever reason, you feel uncomfortable filling it.
FOR BUYERS
♦ You do not pay the gil fee until you receive your request; in the case of a MWS-wide request, the gil fee will be completely refunded if nobody responds within the stipulated time period (a month from the announcement of your request).
♦ Your MWS-wide request may get a varying degree of fills depending on the fandom (obscure fandoms will get fewer fills), the specificity of your request (more specific requests are less likely to get fills), and of course, people's availability (you're less likely to get fills during exam season.) You might want to take this into account when considering a MWS-wide fill: if you're looking for an obscure fandom or a very specific fill, it might be better for you to approach individual stallowners. You can definitely approach more than one stallowner with the same request, and you can re-post the same prompt another time as well, if you feel there's a better chance of it being filled later on.
♦ It might be helpful for both you and the stallowner to provide examples/resources of what you're looking for when requesting fanworks: e.g. "I'd like a fic that references this piece of art", or "Could you make me ten icons from these screenshots?" You're not obligated to, but it might help.
