we folded down the back seat and spread out a sleeping bag. we laid with our heads at the end of the bronco, so that we could see the stars. everything was dark and quiet. i felt as if we had the whole world to ourselves. it was weird, but pleasant. peaceful, but thrilling. there was no where else i would rather have been.

for my last several days of arizona residence, there's been a disappointingly low amount of activity going on. granted, i'm doing what i find to be most important right now; hanging out with friends. but doing what exactly? what constitutes "hanging out"? the most exciting recent event was a night of salsa dancing. and that lasted for 2 hours. i went to the doctor today and the bastard gave me three shots. i was also forced to piss into a cup. the nausea set in 20 minutes later.

but at least i'm old enough to sign my own medical papers. oh, sweet accomplishment.

there will be a party of sorts at mi casa tomorrow. all are welcome. bring a friend. bring a drink. stay the night. whatever.

i feel the need to socialize right now, seeing as the summer is coming to a close. pretty soon we'll all be going our own ways. so drop on in, you crazy kids.

i'm tired, depressed, and my back hurts. i got 2 hours of sleep last night. i have to catch a flight at 8am today. i've never been as distressed by a vacation as i have by this one. and i'll be gone for 14 days. 14 long long days.

leaving him wasn't fun. it burned my throat.

i hope spain doesn't suck.

after 10 very long, somewhat-miserable, communication-deprived days of missing him, his trip to missouri has come to an end. he gets back tomorrow morning. i made him a teddy bear at the build-a-bear workshop as a welcome home present. i stuffed a little heart into it's fluff and dressed it in underwear and a pair of sunglasses. i hope he likes it ( Read more... )

it's easier to deal with when he pisses me off. i don't miss him as much. perhaps the apparent lack of concern is intentional and for my own well-being.
