The Office: I Might Break (Jim/Pam)

I am gakking the structure used by 1sentence and 1character and adapting it to my own purposes. That is, one sentence for each episode of The Office. I reserve the right to develop these into actual stories in the future. *g*

YES! Each of these deserves to be its own 100 word ficlet, and then its own 1000 word scene!!

YES!!!!

Each and every one!!!

*flail* Jimandpam! (still, that's the only word that truly encompasses their jimandpamness. )

Your ambition staggers me. Though I shall think about it, yes. JIMANDPAM!

"You should have introduced me," he says in passing, and for some reason, Pam blushes.

I wibble at the thought that all these could be written out into fics in the future. *wibblewibblewibble*

This is fabulous. I love it. It just gives me that sort of breathless feeling I get during those really tense Jim/Pam moments.

Oh, this broke me. I love how this structure works intrinsically with this show, since it's supposed to be a documentary, you can break their little moments episodically and this works so well. Sparse, bittersweet and seeped in tension. Guh. I sure you develop these into stories in the future, please, please, please...

Oh man, EXCELLENT. Each of these says so very much and ties into the episode so well; it's a really intense reading experience. And I want more more more from every one.

Favorites: 2.01, 2.02, 2.04, 2.09, 2.14!!!, 2.16 (Dwight!), 2.19 and of course 2.22. (I hadn't though of the smoke, but he was standing near Jan, so; perfect.)

(I'm not sure I get 1.03, though -- is it because he suggested Dwight to pick the health plan?)

I really hope you write more soon!

I am going to have to expand that one, clearly, because it's actually one of my biggest beefs with Jim. He could have very easily picked out a decent health plan, but didn't. And there's no way he didn't know what would happen with Dwight. Just, argh! That moment drives me crazy.

That's an excellent point. I have to confess, I really love that they let him (and Pam) have all these flaws -- he pulls things like this and really *doesn't* have any ambitions and so on. It makes them human; I wish fic explored it more!
