The good news is that I got an interview asking to arrange a telephone interview. The purpose of the phone interview, according to the interviewer-to-be, "is to check how fluent you are in Japanese." Now, those who know me know that I generally dislike using the phone with strangers in English

Thanks for the well wishes, Anonymous! The company is Nanica, Inc., a game localization company. The position I applied for doesn't involve any translating, but rather is an entry-level management position.
