Dude. Ever been to the store on Connecticut with like 900 beers? If not... it's on Connecticut just before the Maryland border. You could get there by going straight up Connecticut from downtown, or say Foxhall towards AU then right on Nebraska then past Wisconsin and left onto Connecticut or Wisconsin until Nebraska then right then til Connecticut then left... YOU GET THE IDEA. It's called something simple, like Connecticut Wine and Beverage or something, and is on the same block as this old-school-style diner (which is really how I remember where it is).
They have EVERYTHING. You can buy just one of a type of a number of different quantities... like for one it would be $1.25, 4 for $5.50, 12 for $12 or something... get the idea? It's AWESOME.
It's like three or four blocks before the circle... going northwest on Connecticut, make the first turn AFTER the old-school diner and then turn left into the parking lot in back (free if you shop there).
...the first 10 pounds or so are always water weight. The little "cheats" here and there can be enough to kick you right out of ketosis and back to square one.
Whatever floats your boat. Weight Watchers works great too even if they do remind me creepily of AA meetings. You can budget your "cheats" into your point allowance.
I'm doing low-carb because it addresses my blood sugar issues. I've lost the first 10 pounds, but I know I'll have to work a lot harder to go lower - in the past, exercise was the only thing that did it.

Well, that's what I mean... I lost 21 pounds on Atkins, 8 pounds immediately and then 13 more over time. The 13 have stayed off, the 8 have come back on immediately.
I'm at risk for diabetes so I'm going to try and avoid sugar and excess carbs as much as possible, I'm just not going to be so strict about it. Stricter about calories, less strict about food choices.
Yeah. You said you had just finished watching a game and you were looking for a place nearby to go have a few. I don't remember if it was in your journal, mine, or hockey...

Is it right before the circle? If so, I think I might know where it is...
