You should advise Canada Post of your new address, and they will redirect all your mail.

As redirected mail comes in , you will be aware of anyone you forgot to advise.

That costs quite a bit though. (more than I personally thought I would pay for changing the addresses myself. But maybe acceptable for some!)

If it takes you a whole year to redirect your mail, you're doing it wrong.
The last time I had to pay to redirect my mail (because of an emergency move wherein I didn't have time to update my address before moving), it cost me ~$25 for three months.

I just moved as well and used Canada post to forward for 6 months (the minimum amount of time). It costs about $50. You can change all of your government stuff - license, medicare, etc. - in one step online. Personally, I think it's worth the cost to avoid missing important bills.
