Disclaimer: I haven't been to this store, but I've heard of it. Toutounes Atomiques
They claim to be a plus-size store for the non-traditional type of girls. They have a facebook page. Maybe have a look and see if it looks interesting?
I already found Cruella through a Google search but they made me twitchy. S/M/L/XL is completely unhelpful as far as sizing goes, since it varies so much from one manufacturer to another, especially with plus sizes. I refuse to make the trip to check them out if they're going to use arbitrary sizing and not provide size charts for their online store. I already sent them an e-mail asking if they have clothing in the size 14+ range and hopefully someone will get back to me so I have a better idea.
oh! oh! I know where else to send her. Glamour Parties has a little boutique upstairs, and is very plus-size friendly (the owner is plus-size as well). it's kind of more burlesque/pinup than goth, but there's definitely some cross-over:
anyway, I totally feel for your friend. I've been plus-sized most of my adult life and it's so hard to find gothy/alternative stuff, even in large cities. the best I've found anywhere is Torrid (US). In Montreal (and most places), one typically has to just go to "normal" stores (like Additionelle), and search high and low for occasional interesting black or dark pieces...

Obscure may not have much plus size from what I recall, but it could be worth a try: http://modeobscure.com/

I'll check out the other one, though!
