Hotels near Lakeshore Hospital

It seems that my father is going to be staying at the Lakeshore for several weeks yet, and his sister is planning to drive up from the US to visit him and is wondering where to stay

There's a Holiday Inn at the 40 and St. Jean. That's the only one I know of.

There's also a Comfort inn that's half a block closer, and a Quality Suites a few blocks farther. All about a 5 minute drive away.

This is probably about 15 minutes away, but may offer less expensive stays. (I've never used them.)

If it's weeks you may want to look at the MacDonald College or John Abbott websites... you may find someone eager to rent out a short term stay apartment. It's a bit farther, but again, if it's weeks..

I think the closest is the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites : Pointe-Claire Montreal Airport at 6700 Trans Canada Hwy. It's not even 3k away from the hospital.
