Looking for Day Care in Verdun

Jan 03, 2011 11:45

Morning
I'm looking for a full- or part-time day care for my 14 month old son in Verdun. I've called a dozen or so places and am on waiting lists.  Anyone have a recommendation of know of a spot opening up?
Thanks!

Please feel free to call my aunt at 514-769-6251. She has a home-day-care at her house, close to Metro Verdun. But she does not speak perfect english, but she can easily communicate with children in that language. :)

Thanks, I'll give her a call this week. Please send me a msg with her name so that I know who to ask for?

Been calling and being placed on waiting lists since August. I've signed up with EnfanceFamille.com as well. So far nothing but waiting lists.

Yes it'd definitely too late now. You really need to call in and reserve a spot as soon as they stick says you're pregnant. Your best bet now would be to find one of them private that charges 20+$ and wait for the credit back from the gov'ment.

I don't know if this would work for you, but I went to the CLSC and talked to a social worker there and she got me into a daycare because my situation was considered to be an emergency. I don't know if your situation is an emergency or not, so...

Thanks, but I don't think I fall into the emergency situation yet. My boss is being super nice and letting me work from home part time until I find something.

I know this isn't what you were looking for, but it might help you in other situations: Sitter Québec. Incidentally, my profile can be found here. ;)
