Well I welcomed the first snow of the year by gracefully falling flat on my face when disembarking from the 24! Nice healthy bruise on my knee to show for it too. *shame*

I did that on the first second of the freezing rain mini-storm last week. One step out the door BOOM. My shoulder hurt all day. :\

The AMT had major delays (over an hour) because they did not think of clearing the "aiguillages", despite the heavy snow starting mid-afternoon, and not letting up.

I guess heavy snow turns people blind? *shakes fist*

Its not like they have to steer. What line was that on?

The Vaudreuil-Hudson line. The Delson line also had delays. The worst part was, the trains were right there, a little way beyond the end of the platforms! They couldn't shift the rails to make them go to their proper platforms, because the mechanisms were buried in snow.

I was shocked to notice how the snow makes Tempos vanish into the background. Never noticed this before, but it does make sense.

Oooh, ahhh, that's how it always starts. Then later there's running and screaming. ...

For some odd reason, I'm trying to put this in perspective. I guess this would be like me visiting Australia for the first time saying "Ooh! my first snake bite!"
