Just a little FYI from one renter to another, you should always charge at least a nominal rent of one dollar for that 12th-month-is-free-if-you're-a-good-tenant thingy because some ill-willed ones have been known to make claims that ''he tried evict me illegally by not cashing the cheque'' and scoring a few grands of ''moral'' and punitive damages :/

I'm not the landlord, just the Janitor.

But from what my boss said, he will add it into the lease. Say it's a 12 months from Dec 2010 to Dec 2011, he will write " November 2010 Free".

Lol k then you should also propose to him to give the first month free then, since people want free stuff now and not in a year, or make it a ''rent has to be paid on the first business day of the month for the 12th month to be free'' because otherwise there still isn't any incentive to be a good payer lol

It's kind of expensive for that quality of apartment in that part of town. Knock $200 off the rents and you might get some takers.

That's what I said to my boss. He's already taken off some of the rent.

I just recently rented one of the 4 1/2's for $975
